WHAT IS INVOICE DISCOUNTING?
Invoice Discounting is a financial product (facility), a form of invoice finance.
A discounting company (or discounter) will
provide you with up to 95% (100%
in some cases) of the value of your sales invoices immediately you raise them.
The balance is paid to you when the debtor
pays less the discounter's charges and
they can even protect you against bad debts if you wish (called non recourse).
You retain control of the chasing of your sales invoices and all contact with your debtors the facility can be confidential so that none of your debtors know you use it.
We can normally save
