If you are trading with
customers (debtors) based outside of the UK, we can introduce you to funding
providers and factoring and invoice discounting companies that can help you with
invoice funding and debtor invoice collection solutions. They have an in depth
knowledge of overseas markets and so can support you even if you haven't yet
traded abroad.
Finance can be provided against export invoices (export factoring or export
invoice discounting) whether all of just some of your sales are overseas, to
enable you to pay your suppliers and, if required, we can introduce you to
organisations that use specialist language skills or networks of overseas agents
to collect your outstanding sales invoices using native languages.
If you are concerned about bad debts, we can introduce you to organisations that
will also provide you with export
bad debt protection. If you are importing goods we can introduce you
to trade finance specialists that can provide trade
finance facilities that will assist you with documentation (e.g. letters of
credit and bills of exchange) and finance for your imports.
